Tournaments for Beginner & Intermediate Level Junior Players

Gran Prix tournaments are now USTA sanctioned L7s (ages 12 & up) and Junior Circuits

(10 & Under) What does that mean?… now you can accumulate South Dakota ranking points for the L7s and pathway points (toward moving up from Orange to Green to Yellow Ball) for the Junior Circuits.

HOW DOES IT WORKS?

Who: The tour is comprised of four USTA Junior L7 Tournaments specifically for Beginner and Intermediate junior players ONLY.

USTA Membership: All players need to have a USTA Membership to participate in the Junior Gran Prix Tour. Register for a FREE USTA Junior Membership Here

How: Players accumulate points earned in each tournament and are ranked by points in age divisions.

The top eight players in each age division advance to the Junior Masters Invitational at Arrowhead Country Club. If a player ages up during Junior Tour, their points do NOT follow them to the next age division.

When: All Tournaments are a 1-day event scheduled on Fridays. Saturday is makeup day only in case of inclement weather.

Scoring Format: All divisions are Two sets to 4 games, no ad scoring. Sudden death at 3-3. 7-point tie-break at one set each.

Draw Format: All players are guaranteed two matches (barring withdrawals or injuries)
